About Stacey

Stacey Midge is a wine educator with a life-long passion for great wine, unique food, good company, and global travel. She is based in Sonoma County, California, and through years visiting wine producing areas in the U.S., Spain, France, Portugal, Greece, and more, she has truly fallen down the rabbit hole of learning and teaching about global wine. She loves to welcome others to join in her journey of discovery, whether it’s through a small wine and cheese party, a curated dinner with pairings, a detailed class, her writing on Substack, or a tour through some of the world’s most beautiful vineyards. She holds a Level 3 Wine Certification and is currently studying for her last exam for the Diploma (Level 4) through the Wine and Spirits Education Trust. She also brings 20 years of experience planning and leading group travel to her work with Just a Smidge. In addition to running this business, she works in hospitality and sales at historical Chateau Montelena. Stacey looks forward to sharing her passion and knowledge with you!

Dropping in on the new Laveau in downtown Cincinnati. I cannot recommend this place enough; the food and drinks are fantastic and the wine list is on point. I foresee a lot of Creole food in my future. @laveaucincy
